Since establishmentof the Area, huge funds have been invested in hardware construction to create an excellent infrastructure.

　　Water supply: city tap water is introduced in the Area for direct use in industrial production and daily life. The twin-system of water supply guarantees constant water supply up to 80.000 tons every day inside the Area.

　　Power supply :Power used in the Area is provided by the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan power network with 5 110 KV substation,7 35KV substation inside the Area. The electric power system is a double-source loop net work with assurance of uninterrupted power supply.

　　Communications: A multimedia broadband network covers the whole Area to provide overall information services; internationally advanced program-controlled switchboard with 40,000 lines is installed in the Area’s telephone exchange.

　　Combustion gas: The Area provides users with natural gas in a supplying capacity of 1.5 million cubic meters daily. Gas is supplied by a double-source loop gas network.

　　Industrial gases: The American APCI has set up a gas factory, which is the largest in north china, to be able to provide quality gases of oxygen, hydrogen and argon and etc, to meet requirements for industrial gases of the enterprises inside the Area.
